The Dental Guide (“we”, “us”) is based in British Columbia, Canada. This policy explains what we collect when you use thedental.guide, chat with Molly, or run a practice account, and what we do with it. We follow British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

Chats with Molly: the messages you type and the page you were on. We use them to answer you, and to show the practice you asked about which questions patients have.

Booking and enquiry requests: your name, email, phone and message, sent to the practice you chose. That practice handles your appointment and your dental records, under its own privacy policy.

Usage data: pages visited and device type, so we can improve the site.

Molly is an AI assistant, not a dentist. Please don’t share detailed health information in the chat. Share it with your dentist directly.

Your account details, your practice’s details and the content you add (photos, team, answers you teach your AI guide).

Conversations your AI guide has on your website, and the summaries your AI employee prepares for you.

Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

The practice you contact, and the service providers that run the site for us: hosting, databases, email, payments and the AI providers that write Molly’s replies. Some of them process data outside Canada, including in the United States. We never sell personal information.

We use essential cookies and privacy-respecting analytics. Maps and other embedded content may set their own cookies.

As long as we need it to provide the service, or as the law requires. Then we delete it or make it anonymous.
